“The Minnesota Museum of American Art (the M) has worked with Imogen in two capacities. We first engaged her as a Project Evaluator for a Minnesota State Arts Board Arts Access grant in which she guided us through the process of developing a logic model and assessment tools, which reflected our strategic and project-specific goals. Additionally, Imogen generated a final report for Arts Access, which we continually reference and is proving foundational to fresh iterations of the project. We also hired Imogen to lead a professional development session for M staff on evaluative processes, including the articulation of a Theory of Change for our organization. Imogen listens to the unique needs of her clients and responds with highly customized solutions that are bolstered by her deep content knowledge. I highly recommend working with Imogen and appreciate her responsive, clear, and strategic approach.”
Courtney Gerber, Director of Education, Minnesota Museum of American Art
“I highly recommend Imogen for project consultation and management. Imogen has worked as the project consultant for the Dakota County Birth to Age 8 Initiative for the past 18 months whose members are four Dakota County school districts, two nonprofits and county public health, social services and administrative staff. Her strong skills in planning and organizing the work of multiple partners have been evident and have been instrumental in the Birth to 8 project reaching established goals. She has managed numerous workgroups to reach consensus on workplan objectives including identifying key development milestones and indicators for the proposed Birth to 8 IT system development. Imogen has written grant reports and applications which has led to an additional $30,000 to fund this project. Imogen has excellent analytical skills and can make complex concepts clear through model development. She is a good listener, is reliable, has good follow through and is able to establish good productive working relationships. The Birth to Age 8 Initiative has received numerous awards and recognition including a 2016 Dakota County HEROES( Honoring Effective Responsive Outstanding Efficient Service) award, a 2016 MN Local Government Innovation Award-UMN Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a 2017 NACo Achievement award with the honor of best in category for “its exceptional results and unique innovations”. These awards have far exceed the expectations of the Birth to 8 partners and highlight the success to date of Imogen’s quality of work as a consultant to the project. If you want your work to be successful, Imogen is the consultant to seek out and have on your team!”

Imogen worked with my nonprofit, Call for Justice, LLC (C4J) for several months as a grant writer and contract development manager. She did a fantastic job of helping to quantify/qualify our story and helped to author a summary that resulted in C4J being awarded an American Bar Association award. She is personable, dogged, and very smart! I highly recommend Imogen and would welcome any direct inquiries. She is also very price-competitive.

Imogen has a gifted intellect and usually asked the toughest questions that others might be afraid to pose. Her extensive and diverse experience is evident in all her work and she is especially reflective when it came to connecting theory and practice. Imogen is that rare person whose performance was so exceptional and original, that you do not forget her. I recommend her highly for any position requiring leadership and responsibility, and I would be delighted to serve as a reference for her at any time, for any opportunity.
Roger Israel, Professor of Public and Non-Profit Administration, Metropolitan State University
While it feels superficial to say anyone is “smart,” Imogen’s smarts are important because they are in combination with her qualities of also being curious and creative; she will study the research and approaches from others and finding ways to apply them most effectively in this unique situation. She’s also tenacious, taking a project through the necessary, long and often difficult steps. She just doesn’t waver on her mission.
